Artist's Comments
For my ad concepts class we had to pick an existing ad and make it "better" based on our own personal objective. I picked a Van Cleef and Arpels ad for their Socrate collection jewelry line. My objective was to highlight their historical founding (in the late 1800's) and their art nouveau inspired designs, which cannot be deciphered from their boring ads. So anyway, this is what i came up with. The company's name was in the top right hand corner, but i took it of for posting here. I'd appreciate all comments and suggestions. Thanks!
